I volunteered with the program back in the summer of 2019 when the girls participated in the day camp at la UASD college. I enjoyed making sure the girls go to and from their communities safely on the bus. I love when I have an opportunity to volunteer with the program’s activities.
I had so much fun at the sleep-away camp. I loved the river and also the campfire. I pushed myself to slide down the water slide because the girls kept cheering for me. It was scary and fun at the same time.
